Guitar duo with George Reijnders
"Nothing is more beautiful than a guitar, except perhaps two", such is the quote attributed to Frédéric Chopin. Conjuring the most beautiful sounds out of the guitar is what Sara Rütten and George Reijnders love to do most. They let themselfs be inspired bij the most famous guitar duos of the past, such as Ida Presti & Alexandre Lagoya, Julian Bream & John Williams and the Assad Brothers.
George Reijnders studied at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in The Hague with Enno Voorhorst. After his bachelor George took lessons with Sabrina Vlaskalic. He achieved his Master of Music 'with distinction' with Goran Krivokapic and Raphaella Smits at the LUCA School of Arts in Leuven, Belgium. His Guitar was built by the French luthier Dominique Field.

Guitar and choir
The most important work for guitar and choir is the Romancero Gitano Op. 152 by the Italian composer Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco (1895-1968). The text is based on poems by the Spanish poet Federico García Lorca (1898-1936).
